Citadel Software Inc is the consulting and software development company of Ron Bondy. Established in Mar 2001 I have had a number of contracts in different areas. Most of my work has been using Microsoft Visual C++.
I have a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering. The first 11 years of my career was spent in the area of chemical engineering flowsheet simulation. While at Simulation Sciences and Hyprotech I developed a number of distillation algorithms. Next I worked at GEO-SLOPE Intl as a system architect / senior developer working on Seep-3D, a 3 Dimensional finite element simulation program. Since then I have been consulting and enjoying it very much. I have had a number of different consulting opportunities, from personal finance to a wireless startup to engineering software.
Currently I am an employee with Simulation Sciences in Lake Forest, CA, USA. I am currently a principal engineering working in the area of distillation.
I have excellent C++ and OOA/OOD skills. I use UML for documenting class and sequence diagrams and have also provided mentoring in C++ and object oriented development.
I have also written a C++ implementation of the Fortuna PRNG by Ferguson and Schneier. Click here to learn more. This is a multithreaded C++ app developed using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net. The PRNG uses the high performance timer, the registry and Ping to collect entropy to feed the entropy pools. I've written a little password generator and a monitor using MFC. The monitor allows for viewing of the state of the generator, pools and sources. The monitor can also compress the raw source bytes in real time to check for complete failure of one or more entropy sources.
